Since he started BMX and has become French champion and vice-champion of the World, Lille’s Vincent Warin has developed an artistic research through the virtuous exploration of movements and the relationship that can exist between a man and a bike, between a man and a machine.
He has also helped bring BMX to art, dance, circus and theater.
The creations he develops with Coy 3.6 / 3.4 are at the intersection of these disciplines: BMX, music and these new forms of circus and dance. The mixture of the practice of this sport exercised at high level, confronted with an aesthetic and a poetic space are among the stakes of his artistic approach.
His singular and atypical universe is intended for a very wide audience.
Constantly looking for a more personal dimension in the work, he plays and continues to provoke meetings, to the pleasure of the miscegenation of the arts.
Since 2009, he weaves and builds trade with Brazil. Every year with the association Jub’Arte, he organizes a cultural festival on the island of Itaparica, in the region of Bahia: le FESTIT.
Vincent Warin has participated in numerous collective creations in contemporary circus, dance, music, opera and theater. He has worked with:
- le Cirque Baroque,
- l’Orchestre de Sénart,
- Blanca Li,
- Carles Santos,
- le Collectif AOC,
- le Théâtre du Prato,
- le Théâtre de la Fiancée
- la Cie Yann Lheureux.
