Project-Show in collaboration with local musicians
It is above all the story of a meeting: a choreography for BMX bikes is written; it is ready to be “set to music”, ideally with local musicians.
The choice of the musician(s) is left to the organising structure. The guests may come from a variety of musical backgrounds and influences. Classical, contemporary, traditional, urban, experimental… they concern all sound agitators.
It is not a question of presenting an improvisation; it is a question of playing what results from a real exchange. From the musicians’ universe, it is a question of correlating the dramaturgical issues of the piece.
Whether they are professionals or amateurs, the rehearsal time will be defined beforehand. In general, for professional musicians who are used to playing musical openings, this time is estimated at 4 hours.
The meeting can integrate various artistic projects: with music schools, non-professional artists, etc…
Our imagination also suggests that we could extend the project by inviting other performers: actor(s), dancer(s), circus artist(s), visual artist(s), video artist(s)…
This proposal has already been realized in about twenty countries. More than 100 musicians, of different and varied formations, have played and coloured the project.
